Home makeover: Exterior/Interior renovation

This project on Coverdale Lake will involve numerous remodeling projects. First I will strip all of the existing soffit & fascia and replace with new aluminum. Next I'll replace all the windows in the house & reside the house with 'Brick Red' double 4" vinyl siding. Then, finishing the lakeside exterior, we'll build a 64' x 16' deck across the entire top floor of the house. Then once we have a surface to work on, we'll remove the windows and add two sets of patio doors before residing the lakeside. There will be a few interior projects after the exterior is complete or the weather gets too bad. And upper level bathroom, kitchen tile work, hardwood floor refinishing and the lower level all will be redone.   

Page 2 beginning December 10

Today we cut down the pantry to half it's original size, moved over the cabinet and opened up the walkway to living room....

In the past 2 weeks...

New windows in the back lower level, completed most of the stairway, resided the front...

Completed the new arched walkway between the kitchen & Living room...

Got a nice start on most of the new interior window & door trim.

Dec 30: Interior trim & drywall complete...

Week of Jan 4th: The snow and cold made for some short days but we were able to complete the deck railcap and most of the upper eastside siding

Built the platform/decks connecting the garage sidewalk & new lakeside deck.  

Jan 19th...we began the 13" x 13" kitchen tile installation...

Jan 20th...tile continues. We'll finish cutting & laying the tile on Thursday and grout the floor Friday morning.
