This is Matt & Megan's bathroom upstairs. The bath is 6'x9'. The old layout had very little room to move around. The toilet was directly in front of the sink. The tub was just inside the door to the left. There was a big bulky linen closet & hamper separating the tub & toilet. We wanted to open up the room. About the only option we had was to put the tub along the outside wall, but there was a window there. We decided to glass block the window and tile around it. The shower has 12" x 12" tiles. I clipped the corners and added a 2"x 2" square decorative tile randomly, in the shower and on the floor. The shower also has a built in niche for soaps & shampoo bottles. The walls have wainscoting and a ledge. A 12" deep vanity with a 'Farmers Sink' allowed for more room in front of the tub. We ended up with much more floor space but short on cabinet space.
